Nightmare on MY Street 1

Please somebody help me figure this out.  I dreamt that there was a skin eating epidemic going around and it was making everybody insane.  In my dream, a woman got stabbed in the face by an infected person, and she ended up ripping her face off!  I can come up with my own interpretation, but I want feedback from everybody else. What does my nightmare mean and what could it say about me?
