The Amityville Horror (1979) - Profile of a Possessed Man

                 (The Amityville Horror-1979)

The house has a face. Eyes for watching your every last attempt to get in it's way. A nose for it smells your fear. And a mouth to swallow you whole if you are weak enough. If you are smart, you will GET OUT!!!

Did you ever stop and wonder if someone died in your home that you are currently abiding in now? George and Kathy Lutz, a young married couple with children from her side, are about to find out the hard way. Their dream home is about to become their biggest nightmare. A young man by the name of Ronald DeFeo, a previous resident of the Amityville House, murdered his whole family in that house. But was it DeFeo or was it the actual house? Does the house harbor a supernatural secret that the Lutz family will come to learn about but only when it's too late?

In most supernatural possessions of a human being, the "possessee" tends to show signs of vulnerability and maybe even a lack of faith. The Amityville house somehow just knew which member of the Lutz family would be able to get the job done.

George Lutz:

1)He is on the fence when it comes to faith but Kathy is not. She is Catholic. She turns to Father Delaney to bless the house, but the house does not let him...

2)There is somewhat of a distance between him and his step kids. Maybe deep down he feels like he doesn't truly belong?

3)He wakes up consistently at 3:15 a.m. to check on the boathouse..

4)He gets moodier and moodier.

5)He gets overly "cold" in the house.

6)Kathy has a disturbing nightmare....

7)But most of all, there is an overly uncanny resemblance to Ronald DeFeo....
